Getting Started Is Simpler Than You Think
Most people spend months thinking about therapy before they actually reach out. Here is the truth: the hardest part is making the first call. Everything after that? I make it easy.
Four Steps. That Is It.
A quick 15-minute call where we talk about what is going on and whether we are a good fit. No pressure. No commitment. If we are not the right match, I will tell you and point you in the right direction.
You will get a link to your secure client portal through SimplePractice. Fill out intake forms, review consent documents, and share your history. All from your phone or computer. About 15 to 20 minutes.
Your first session is 55 minutes. We dig into your story, your patterns, and what you actually want to be different. All sessions are virtual. Log in from wherever you are. Therapy should fit your life.
Together we create a treatment plan built around your goals. Not a generic checklist. Most clients start weekly. As things shift, we adjust. The goal is to give you tools to handle life without me.

Common Questions
Is everything virtual?
Yes. All therapy and coaching sessions happen via secure, HIPAA-compliant video. Same quality care without the commute.
What states are you licensed in?
Maryland, Virginia, Washington DC, and Florida. Coaching is available in all 50 states.
Do you take insurance?
I accept BlueCross BlueShield (BCBS) for individual therapy. For couples and family work, I am out-of-network. I provide superbills for reimbursement. HSA and FSA cards are accepted.
How is coaching different from therapy?
Therapy addresses clinical concerns like anxiety, depression, and trauma. Coaching is goal-focused and action-oriented for people who are functioning well but want to level up. We figure out together which one fits.
How long does therapy take?
There is no magic number. Some clients see real shifts in 8 to 12 sessions. Others benefit from longer-term work. We check in regularly and adjust as you grow.
